Ok im watching Godzilla vs Gigant right now and my dad is too... sort of, since hes just doing whatever, im not sure. Well before he leaves he mentions "you cant kill godzilla, godzilla is magic!". Now.... whoa, hold on. Godzilla Magic? His argument is that godzillas soul never dies and that he always comes back.
While this is somwhat true, its also not. In GMK there was a more spiritual thing to Godzilla with some sort of "curse" on japan but that was one movie. And at the end, Godzilla dies! Well sort of, in a way he is dead at the end of the movie.
But in Godzilla Againts Mechagodzilla, we know for a fact that, THAT godzilla is the second one of its kinda as the original bones are in Kiryi, AKA Mechagodzilla, AKA Mechagodzilla 3. So, we know there is more then one Godzilla. And Godzilla inst unkillable either. There have been plenty of times Godzilla was either killed or beaten sensless by another monster. Godzilla aint immortal, just takes alot to kill him or beat him.
Point: My dad knows dick about godzilla...
